You,
“To Give of Yourself”
Our work never ceases. We are
in the business of non-stop service and wherever we are, we must remember that.
You must show it in all that you do, whoever you happen to be with, at all
times.
It is exhausting I know. You are
barely able to keep up with the constant learning and relearning of this way of
life. You are wrung out dry by falling and getting back up over and over again.
But to compound all this by being a lighthouse on battered shores seems almost
too much.
Life seems like an endless
list of things to do, things not yet done, and things forgotten. Where in all
this will you find room to be a spectacle of grace?
I will give you all the room
you need. I will walk you through it all, step by uncertain step. This is a
choice we have both made: I have chosen to love you unconditionally; you have
chosen to let me.
And so we carry on. In the
noise of the surrounding world, radiate.
